Yoda

Here is another rejected design that I liked.  It was for teachers at a local school to wear on the first day.  They went with a simpler Yoda head, but I really like the first drawing.

Frontier Days

Sometimes you get feed the wrong idea because the wrong scenario was presented upfront, and this is a great example.  I was told to make a design for the largest rodeo in Wyoming, perhaps the USA.  So I came up with the first design, knowing what the college usually likes.  Then, it began to get paired down more with each revision, and changing to an apron because this was meant for a food contest.  The final result (not shown) was just a simple lettering on the back that was not western themed at all.

Grinch

I started this project a few days ago. The customer is doing a holiday fitness challenge and wanted to incorporate the Grinch or another Dr. Seuss character. I found a reference pic from How the Grinch Stole Christmas and instantly thought of a squat pose. I came up with the slogan from one of the lines in the cartoon. Some personally rejected lines were "Pants feeling two sizes too small?!?" and "Still reaching for that last can of Who Hash?"
